1. About UrbanPG

UrbanPG is a marketplace that connects students with PG/hostel owners. UrbanPG is not itself the accommodation provider and does not own, operate or manage the properties listed.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have guardian consent) to create an account.

3. Owner obligations

• Provide accurate property information, photos and pricing.
• Honour bookings you accept and communicate cancellations promptly.
• Comply with all applicable local laws and safety regulations.

4. Student obligations

• Provide accurate contact details when booking a visit.
• Verify the PG in person before making final payment.
• Respect the owner's property, house rules and other residents.

5. Booking & reservation

Students may request a free visit through the platform. Reservations may involve a token amount, payable through the payment options available at that time.

6. Payments

Online payments are processed through Razorpay. UrbanPG does not store card, UPI or bank details. Our detailed cancellation and refund policy is being finalised — until it's published, please see our Help Centre and confirm cancellation terms directly with the owner.

7. Limitation of liability

UrbanPG facilitates discovery and booking. We perform verification checks at the time of listing, but we are not liable for disputes between students and owners, property condition, safety incidents on the premises, or any loss arising from your use of an owner's property beyond what applicable law requires.

8. Account suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, submit fraudulent listings, or endanger other users.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Patna, Bihar have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
