Cancellation & Refund Policy

At UrbanPG, we want booking a PG to feel as safe as visiting one in person. Here's exactly what happens if plans change.

Before your visit

Visits are always free. Cancel or reschedule anytime, no charge, no questions asked.

After paying the booking fee, before move-in

  • Within 48 hours of booking: full refund, no questions asked.
  • After 48 hours, but before your move-in date: 50% of the booking fee is refunded. The rest covers the owner holding the bed for you instead of renting it to someone else.
  • Within 24 hours of your move-in date, or after it's passed: the booking fee is non-refundable.

If something's wrong on the owner's side

If the room isn't available, doesn't match what was listed, or the owner backs out — you get a full refund, always. That's on us to catch, not you to absorb.

After you move in

Your day-to-day tenancy — notice period, exit terms — is governed by the individual PG's house rules, which are shared with you before you book. UrbanPG helps you find and book the room; the PG owner is your landlord once you're in.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Disputes

If you and the owner disagree about a cancellation, reach out to support.urbanpg@gmail.com and we'll step in to help sort it out.
